1. Our Quotation

Our quotation, unless otherwise stated, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties together with these terms and conditions, but it does not include customs duties, port charges and inspections, or any other fees or taxes payable to government bodies or otherwise arising from the removal or introduction of your property into or out of the United Kingdom or any other jurisdiction. We may amend the price of the intital quote or make additional charges if circumstances are found to apply which have not been taken into account when preparing our quotation and confirmed by us in writing. These include the following:

(a) Our costs change because of currency fluctuations or changes in taxation or freight, fuel, ferry or toll charges beyond our control. These costs will typically apply to international removals, but may also be applicable in certain areas of the UK.

(b) The work is carried out outside of our normal business hours (07.00am - 7.00pm) at your request, where not initially agreed in writing.

(c) We supply any additional services, including moving, packing or storing extra goods (these conditions apply to such work).

(d) We are required to employ extra staff for any period of the removal or service due to circumstances beyond our control, or whereby you require extra work to be completed not originally declared in the agreed quote. This also applies to any extra staff required for services mentioned in 1(c).

(e) The stairs, lifts or doorways are inadequate for free movement of the goods without mechanical equipment or structural alteration, or the approach, road or drive is unsuitable for our vehicles and/or containers to load and/or unload within 20 metres of the doorway.

(f) We have to pay parking or other fees, fines or congestion charges in order to carry out services on your behalf.

(g) There are delays or events outside of our reasonable control which increase or extend the resources or time allowed to complete the agreed work.

(h) Extra fuel charges apply when travelling outside the M25. Congestion Charges (Central London) and other tolls will incur an extra cost. Jobs with more than a 20 mile driving distance will incur a fuel charge and will be charged from base to base.

(i) There is a minimum charge of £150 (per half tonne) for taking goods to a refuse/recycling centre (fees may be substantially higher). In any such circumstances, adjusted charges will apply and become payable.

2. Work Not Included In The Quotation

Unless agreed by us in writing, we will not:

(a) Disconnect, re-connect, dismantle or re-assemble appliances, fixtures, fittings or equipment.

(b) Take up or lay fitted floor coverings.

(c) Move items from a loft, unless adeqautely lit and floored, and safe access is provided. Entrances to the loft must provide enough space to move the goods freely.

(d) Dismantle or assemble equipment and garden furniture including but not limited to: sheds, greenhouses, garden shelters, outdoor play equipment and satellite dishes.

3. Other Charges

(a) Ensuring that adeqaute parking for our vehicles is available is the customers(your) responsibility. Any parking tickets or fines received will be added to the final bill. Please note that we are not able to park illegally and will not do so.

(b) If a job is cancelled within 24 hours of the agreed start time a 1 hour charge will apply. If extra staff have been employed to facilitate the work, or if extra equipment is hired and we are not given sufficient notice of cancellation, you will also be charged a minimum of 1 hours work per staff member, and the full cost of the equipment hire.

(c) It is the customers(your) resposibility to ensure that all items being moved into your new residence will fit through doorways and will fit into the new premise. If items do not fit, we may be required to deliver them to another location, and this will be at an additional cost.

(d) We accept no responsibility for damage or breakage to items that have not been packed or protected by adequate means.

4. Please Note

(a) We can accept payments by card or cash.

(b) We charge 2 hours as a minimum.

To fit around your schedule, we are available 7 days a week, early morning, and late at night.
